“The Experts” say that blue is a colour to be avoided when displaying food. Blue is a color that most restaurants should avoid. It’s not commonly found naturally in food, and it can cause customers to lose their appetites. Additionally, if you have bright blue walls, the shade of blue can reflect onto your food and make it look less appetizing.

Oh dear, my kitchen has bright cobalt blue walls!! Give me Copenhagen or Santorini blue! Oh heck, let’s just wish for safe travelling again.

Today, Bluestar® celebrates 140th anniversary of custom manufacturing & quality craftsmanship. In 1880, Prizer-Painter Stove Works, Inc. maker of Blue Star, began manufacturing.

BlueStar® is available in both Canada and the US. Local outlets on Vancouver Island include appliance stores in Victoria, Nanaimo, and Courtenay.
