Restaurant Spotlight: The Sandbar

The Sandbar Restaurant serves up the freshest Seafood in a warm sophisticated atmosphere with offerings such as their fresh oyster bar, wood-burning grill and very own in‐house Hoshi Sushi bar. Located in the heart of world‐famous Granville Island – Vancouver, BC, they are perched on the waterfront with views from every seat. Not a year goes by when we don’t hit Granville Island’s Food Market to stock up for our annual Whistler trip. Lunch is always at the Sandbar Restaurant.

We sold Douglas‐fir boards ‐ riddled with Teredo holes ‐ to the Sandbar Restaurant well over 15 years ago. They whitewashed it and it’s still looking good, going strong.
