Jan’s Day Off: Refinished Vintage Sofa

We bought this lovely little sofa through “UsedVictoria” this past summer.  She was built in the Boston in the mid-50’s and had great bones.  The leather was an awful cow-pie brown and the foam was hard as nails.  Jan took the leather off and re-stained the wood trim a ‘wenge’ colour.  Then we had Gregg’s Furniture reupholster in a fabulous faux red leather.  What a difference!!  Now it pops the room.
