These are ash gunwales with cherry decks and thwarts.The front hole is a drain for inverted storage, and the two others take a bungee to secure painters.Thwarts are deep-fastened with epoxy pins and epoxy glued along the length; there is no visible hardware or plugs.” – By Lloyd Beaule
