Our solvent-free worktop oil with LFGB (Food Safe) certification is made from strong-drying linseed oil and tung oil. This makes the natural oil surface so water-repellent and durable. Ideal for wood in the kitchen and bathroom.

For kitchen worktops, dining tables, bathroom furniture or washbasins made of solid wood are exposed to great strain and moisture every day. They therefore require intensive protective impregnation. We have developed the solvent-free and food-safe OLI-NATURA Worktop Oil, especially for this purpose.
This natural oil blend combines highly drying vegetable oils of the highest quality. Solvents are not used and the high-solids content is around 100%. The base is pure linseed oil, which is enriched with 24% tung oil. This tung oil has the property of being very resistant and water-repellent, thus preventing moisture from penetrating.
The viscosity of the impregnating oil is comparatively high due to the high tung oil content, which is why it is best massaged deep into the pores with a pad. Processed in this way, the oil is used super efficiently and the wood is ideally completely saturated with just one application of oil.

Preparation
Sand the wood surface professionally. Final sanding of wood for furniture with grain 180. The wood moisture should be between 8-12%. The substrate must be solid, dry, clean, non-slip, stable and free of release agents. Process the material at room temperature.
Application Instructions
- Shake/stir the container well.
- Apply a small amount of oil with a rubber squeegee or spatula.
- Then carefully massage the oil into the wood using a beige pad by hand or with an orbital sander. Alternatively, the oil can also be applied directly with the beige pad and massaged in.
- Re-oil dry areas.
Exposure time & rework:
- Allow the oil to work and react.
- Within the next 15-30 minutes, polish thoroughly with a white polishing pad or cotton cloth.
- Remove any excess oil with an oil-absorbent cloth. The surface must feel dry to the touch!
Note: Cloths, pads or wood dust soaked with oil can spontaneously ignite due to heat build-up, therefore please clean immediately after use or store underwater.
Drying:
- Depending on the humidity and temperature, the surface is dust-dry after 1-2 hours, and fully hardened after 5-7 days. As a 2K oil, the hardening time is reduced to approx. 2 days. During this time, protect from water, do not clean with a damp cloth and treat gently. At low temperatures and high humidity, the drying time is correspondingly longer.
Re-polishing
- If necessary, polish again the next day with a white polishing pad and a small amount of oil (5-10 ml/m²).
