Scientific name: Fraxinus americana

North American wood with a variety of colours; varying from white sap to brown heart; with a red tinge sometimes. Heavy in weight, good strength, strong and stiff with a density averaging 41 lb/ft3. High shock resistance and excellent bending qualities.
